Re: A meal and some range time.
I wouldn't mind joining up if you guys don't mind a non oc or cc board noob. I've eaten at the south York diner, good food at a good price. I work afternoons and busy with the little most mornings during the week so weekend is best although kids sports do take precedence. And depending on when this happens, I might have a new gun by then as well. Tax refunds are great

Re: A meal and some range time.
My schedule changes all the time but if I can make it I'll be there... anyone going to pick a date?
Sunday breakfast then shooting or shooting some clays & a maybe little handgun range time @ starview then lunch?
Most Sundays I'm better able to make a breakfast & then skip shooting to either head out for a day with the wife, if off, or make it to work on time if not, but as long as she doesn't have the farmers market or a trip to Adamstown in mind for us that day, I could probably talk the wife into a round of clays in the morning & an early lunch... some Sundays we don't get out of the house till 11 AM-noon anyway since most places we go in Gettysburg, Lancaster & York don't open till then on a Sunday.Let us never forget the sacrifice of those who have fought for us all.

Re: A meal and some range time.
well lets look into 2 options
food and shooting or just food.
I costs about $50 to rent a pavilion at rocky ridge, so maybe look into another place if possible, Sunday seems like the day. how much lead time does everyone need. and suggestions for a place. I am willing to front the burgers and hotdogs to get things rollingRIP -The US constitution.

Count Mrs Curmudgeon and myself among those interested. Our work schedules change almost weekly these days, so once a date is picked we will try to attend.
Shoot, eat, or both, it matters not, still a good idea! While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

From the Reading area, would not mind traveling a bit to do some shooting and meet others with the same addiction.

Re: A meal and some range time.
Well....I am going to be at Starview to shoot some clays this Sunday (9th) and then rush off to meet the wife to go to the York Street Fair. (a family tradition for Mother's Day) I will then be away for 2 weeks for our 15th wedding anniversary (Yes...she has kept me all this time!). SOOooooo.....I may not be able to come if it is anytime soon. I will kick in some $ or some food/drink to make our get together a pleasant experience if I DO get to come.
