Anti-gun groups guilty of conspiracy to commit a crime?
I got thinking today about all the preemption violations that are coming up and the efforts of some anti gun groups to change laws in local governments in violation of the state law. If we could find a D.A. willing to cooperate could we not file a criminal complaint against those groups and the cooperating government officials for knowingly conspiring to enact ordinances in violation of state law particularly the lost and stolen laws?

Re: Anti-gun groups guilty of conspiracy to commit a crime?
You could, but the DA still has prosecutorial discretion, so they can basically ignore the complaint
The same way Eric Holder ignored the "New Black Panthers" incident during the presidential election here in Philly
