Default Anti-gun groups guilty of conspiracy to commit a crime?

I got thinking today about all the preemption violations that are coming up and the efforts of some anti gun groups to change laws in local governments in violation of the state law. If we could find a D.A. willing to cooperate could we not file a criminal complaint against those groups and the cooperating government officials for knowingly conspiring to enact ordinances in violation of state law particularly the lost and stolen laws?

    There. Does that help?
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Couldn't we file a private criminal complaint?

What I do not understand is if there is a law being broken, how does the DA have a choice not to prosecute?

You could, but the DA still has prosecutorial discretion, so they can basically ignore the complaint.

The same way Eric Holder ignored the "New Black Panthers" incident during the presidential election here in Philly
