Do I need to Register?
My family and I moved into a house that belong to my husband's grandparents. We found a hand gun only thing we can find out about it. Is that it was pat Nov.17,09 We want to know if we need to register it? The only person that looked at it told me it was from the 1920's

Re: Do I need to Register?
Who now claims ownership and how did they come about owning it? Pa has no registration BUT depending on how the handgun was transfered/obtained there may be other issues - hence the question.

If you know for a fact your husband's grandparents were the owners of it then no. Otherwise I'm not sure of the transfer requirements. I say transfer because you don't register guns here, you must however legally transfer them, and transfers between grandparent or parents to children do not have to go through an FFL.
