Default direction of the Country ...?

(posting in a number of web forums, as I would like to get peoples experiences with this)

Got to tell tell you: - the more people I talk to lately in my daily life, and I'm talking about people who you and I would normally call liberal minded the more I'm hearing this: "I'm really worried about the way things are going in this Country, worried about possible anarchy, and I want to look into buying a gun".

Again, and let me be clear, these are people that would never dream of owning any kind of weapon, handgun, rifle, whatever...

Also, they are afraid that the latest rumblings of gun bans etc, etc, are scaring them, in that they are afraid they will not be able to get a weapon if they wait any longer.

Throwing this out there to see if anyone else has experienced the same?

I have to agree, I am here people who are on the left of the political spectrum now getting worried.
I am also seeing the left get more authoritarian, remember the Nazi's were actually socialist.
I also love to ask the people who are getting worried when is the last time they voted in a local or state election, many do not.
When they did vote how much research did they do on the candidate or did they vote for who the party to told them to.
There is no excuse for not researching a candidate anymore.
Look at what we got with BO because the lefties would not acknowledge his communist leanings.
We heard more about George Bush's Collage fraternity than about the entire back ground of BO.
Germany and Italy ended up with Hitler and Mussolini because they listen to the feel good speeches and did not look into the back ground.

When people talk to you about when the shit hits the fan, or the current state of the economy, you should tell them that the House and Senate is facing an overturn of epic proportions. People are just plain fed up. They don't want Democrats in there anymore, because there's no such thing as a moderate Democrat these days, and they certainly don't want Republicans in name only. It is going to be a conservative revolution, and it is what Obama fears the most. There is no civil dialogue with the GOP from the current president. He will stop at nothing to further his agenda; the public be damned. With conservatives retaking the House and Senate, his hand will be forced to work with them, lest he gets nothing done at all. He will be a one term president, and with certainty, his foolish measures shall be repealed. Try as they might, any politician that tries to run on an anti-2A agenda must realize that they've signed their own political death warrant.

It seems that we are headed for a reset. My only hope is that it will be bloodless.

Should the powers that be try anything unconscionable (martial law, etc.. The kind of things that the left was saying the GWB was going to do), the S WILL HTF.

If that happens, all bets are off.

I suspect that this fall's elections will result in the ouster of almost all of the incumbents...and maybe that's a good thing.

Angry Re: direction of the Country ...?

I have faith that most Americans aren't sheep and will realize that we are a unique nation with our own heritage founded on the Constitution. Attempts to make us like any European country are doomed to fail. But I also have a skeptical side that people vote for name recognition or along straight party lines. Vote for your beliefs not the popularity of a candidate.

I know I'm voting for Sam Rohrer, although I will not be sad if Corbett wins. I want to see Specter gone. I'm frankly sick of a so called Commander in Chief who appologizes for America, who has no clue as to foreign policy, economic policy or safeguarding America. Vote Obama out. We have a Congress with the lowest ratings ever. Vote them out. Can we say term limits, accountability, and evicting the UN from this country? Enough of my rant!

We've had a lot of people in our office who've never even fired guns before purchasing them and learning to shoot in the last year and a half. Some with a "always wanted one, think I better buy one before a ban" and some with SHTF expectations.

Starting to see some people waking up, (more acknowledging that this is not the 'change' they were looking for, rather than 'gotta get me a firearm...') but I wish there were more.

    BTW - December 21??

I see the Government moving in one direction and the people moving in another. As long as the people come out to vote, things should work out fine after the election in November. Overall I believe the American people are getting smarter and smarter.

    So to be clear.

Libs got what they asked for. They supported a nanny state their whole lives either proactively or just hoping it would be handed to them. They’ve been fucking me over my entire life, but now they suddenly feel worried and want to own a gun before they can’t?

    Yeah that sound about right.

    Thanks for nothing assholes.
    FUCK BIDEN
