Before I leave we should meet up sometime and shoot. I have no qualms about chewing someone's ass for unsafe practices on a range. I rather enjoy it

Sounds like a plan. I've corrected some people before. But in the last case, I was pretty much done and they looked like the type that would not listen.

At the club I belong to I'm a little more strict about it. One I put more into the club than I do the SGL and I know I have a formal process to follow if I see someone being unsafe.

Skipped the SGL today and went to PMSC for 3+ hours.

What's the latest on range? It's the only place I have to shoot and am wondering if it is operational or not.

The "old" range is still open, obviously, but the new pistol range was still closed as of 5:00 yesterday (7.28).

I went shooting today at the Wexford range and as I drove by I noticed that the new pistol range was opened! Hoorayy!!
It was sure nice and quiet at the old range early this morning.
Anyone have any idea when the rifle range will get its makeover?
I was told that the delay regarding the new pistol range was that a noise permit or variance was necessary. Sure hope that this does not delay the work on the rifle range.

I stopped by today also to look. 8 bays each for 10yrd and 25yrd.

I heard some old-timer say they are not going to do the rifle range until next year...and the range is going to rotate 90 degrees clockwise. Holding off kind of makes sense....you don't want to have it down when hunting season gets close.

Almost next door... about 1/8-mile north, same side of the road. Can't miss it.
