    Look into the Iver Johnson enforcer. The enforcer is an M1 styled pistol. I have one and it is fun to shoot.

    I have the model on the left.

    Aggies Coach Really ??? Take off the tin foil bro.

    The original Iver Johnson hasn't been around for over 20yrs. And their M1 carbines were junk. USGI parts did not always fit. Universal brand was even worse.

    Some other M1A1 facts;

    The CMP hasn't had carbines in years and does not expect any more.

    Only Inland made M1A1 'paratrooper' models. Originals are very expensive.

    There is a new 'Inland' manufacturin g company , no relation to the original GM company,.

    We know the South Koreans have 650,000 of them in storage, but so far nothing has been done under Trump to bring them back.

    ^^^^ I wouldn't be too sure of that. Shortly after Obama refused to allow those carbines to be returned to the United States, a lot of carbine stocks showed up at gun shows for a while. Sure looked like Korea said OK, broke them down, and sold the wood. Best hope is the barreled actions are still around.

    USGI. Still lots of NIW USGI mags out there for $15-20ea. Can find them at gun shows in the reddish-brown wrappers. The commercial Korean 20rd mags get OK reviews , but most 30rd are junk. Genuine USGI 30rd mags are scarce an d expensive. Lots of SEY marked fakes.
