Default Where to shoot in or around Bangor, PA?

Just moved in to the area a few weeks ago and I'd like to find a local range or club. Looking to shoot my AR and a few pistols. Something open on Saturday and Sunday would be best as I usually do not have much time during the week due to work. Thanks.

Thanks, rep sent. I'll check it out if I'm unable to find a closer range. Google maps puts that range at a 31 minute drive..

    Welcome!!

I shoot rifle & pistol at East Bangor Sportsman's Assn (Fancy name for a bare bones range) near Lake Minsi. If I want to shoot pistol indoors I go to Pocono Pistol Club in Stroudsburg. Used to shoot at EFGA, good range, but it's a drive...

You'll find plenty of opinions on this forum to Go or Not to Go to both of these ranges, but I'll be glad to give you the skinny on both so you can decide for yourself...PM me...

Roseto Rod & Gun would be great, if they allowed guests. You can't bring your spouse or offspring with you either, unless they're also members. However, a guest's money is readily taken at the bar.

Try Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club 1035 Smith Gap Road Bath pa, 18014,It is about as far away from bath as you can get and still have a Bath mailing address, No rapid fire on the ranges, but guests are allowed once per life time to use the ranges, if they want to shoot again after that, they have to become a member. a very family oriented club, with a lot of events for kids and adults.
Heres the link, and a google map

Thanks for all the recommendations guys. If I ever get a free weekend I'll check some of these places out. But now that the weather is nice, it doesn't look like work will be slowing down any time soon..

I think membership to a Pa. resident is $25 a year (maybe $35 to get the ball rolling). That's cheap and then they have other functions as well. They also have bring a friend to the range day which is $10 for the friend in hopes of expanding membership. They have block shoots every month throughout the winter and a pond to fish at. Pig roast also in the fall. Free pool and jukebox Friday nights. It's worth it to join.

    Scrumpy,
I can only assume that you meant "However, a guest's money is readily taken at the bar" would be for soda, or food, or to obtain membership in the club RIGHT?
I mean, unless you want the LCB to pay this club a visit, for serving non members other items which would be a violation of the clubs catering club Liq Lic.
