    Default Weatherby Shotguns

Are they any good? I've heard pretty good things about the shotguns made in Turkey but nothing about the Weatherbys. I'm looking at the SA-08 upland in 12 gauge.

I have been using a Weatherby Orion 20 ga. O/U for my upland hunting for years. It has been reliable and accurate. Was on a preserve shoot the other day with three other fellows. As always, it was effective and a joy to carry. IIRC, the gun was made by SKB for Weatherby.

There aren't many around the club I belong to. The ones I've seen looked good but I passed on the ones that were for sale ( I think Browning is the most bang for the buck). Here's a pretty good history on them.
