Default NFA dealer in York County?

I decided my next purchase should be a new pistol with a suppressor. This will be my first NFA purchase, so I have many questions. Are there any dealers in the York area? Anyone know if the CLEO will sign off? I was thinking of something for a 9mm. Will this still be relatively quiet? Any suggestions on a can? I'm sure I'll have some more questions in a while, but this should get me going. Thanks in advance.

There is Freedom Armory in Glen Rock. They only sell Yankee Hill cans. Not bad for the money but their is better out there. I have the Yankee 9mm cobra.
Freedom prices are kind of high.

Layman's Gun Shop 717-252-4573 is a good place. I think they could order you pretty much any 9mm suppressor you want.

I would suggest the AAC TiRant 9. It is quiet with subsonic ammo.
Glock 19 or a Sig 226 for your host weapon.

I will probably head over to Laymans. I haven't read very many good reviews about Freedom Armory on here, so I will skip them. I'm leaning towards a USP for the host weapon, but we'll see. Still trying to find out if anyone in the York area was able to get their form signed. Anyone? Thanks

From my personal experience talk to ForceinPA he is on the board here. He is located over by Lebanon area but you really don't have to make to many trips. Probably just one to pick it up really. Plus he will probably be at the SAR show in york, he was in the past. He defn has tons of suppressors in stock so you don't have to wait for a form 3. Also right now Gemtech has a deal that they will pay your $200 tax stamp can't beat that!!
    Good luck!!

    Question for you...
Does the subsonic ammo cause any cycling problems with the G19?
Well, pushed 60 too hard so now I am the big SIX-OH. Now I can be a real pain in the ass! And, who says growin' old isn't fun!!

My carry load in my G19 is subsonic. There will be no problems.

Subsonic (147 gr.) is all I shot out of the G19 with no problems. Suppressed and unsuppressed.

I also shoot 158 gr out of the G19, which is heavier to remain subsonic for SMGs (longer barrel). Although 147 is usually subsonic out of SMGs as well.

Come to think of it, that may be backwards. I think 158 gr. may have come first. But result is the same.

I have had excellent experiences at Layman's. They did two title ii transfers for me and Terry is a great guy to hang out and talk shop with. I have also purchased from Kirk at Force Training twice now. He also gets a definite good-to-go-head-nod but if you're not trying to leave York he doesn't fit the requirement.

You have a big show coming up in two weeks that will be chock full of class 3 items. You should be able to get hooked up there.
