Taurus PT92C
Good evening, everyone.
Not sure if this is the right place for this post or not since I'm new, but I'll take a chance.
I have a PT92C in very good condition. Less than 500 rounds through it.
I was wondering what I could expect to get for this gun if I sold it. I have dollar figures in my head but wanted some reassurance regarding what this gun would fetch.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Taurus PT92C
There are two used 92's for sale in local shops. I really didn't look at them but I believe one was $379 and the other $399.

Re: Taurus PT92C
Sorry, I forgot to mention that this is the compact version of the standard Taurus PT92.
I've attached a picture of the gun (not mine specifically, since I don't have a scanned pic just yet).Last edited by Taurus17112; April 15th, 2010 at 09:57 PM. Reason: Changed pic

Re: Taurus PT92C
Shoot, I kinda want it. This would be the right place. But, if you'd like to put it up for sale, this would be the place:

Oh boy , Thats a sweet Gun, if i lived near you i would do a face to face, and in Blue too? Those are rare, .
Taurus is like the Hyundai of the Gun World- great value, good reliable guns but poor resale value.
Sell it privately and you will get more for it.

Re: Taurus PT92C
I more than likely will put it up for sale on here. I have a friend who is contemplating buying it, but he's not sure if he can afford it.
I will definitely be active in the forums and will post it in the Classifieds section should he opt not to buy.
And yes, it is blued finish. Nice gun.Last edited by Taurus17112; April 15th, 2010 at 09:55 PM. Reason: Added Pic

Re: Taurus PT92C
Realistically Id say no more than 325 or so. What were you thinking out of curiosity?

Re: Taurus PT92C
To be honest with you, I was thinking in that price range, since there's an extra mag included.
I haven't given my friend a price yet because he spends a lot of his money on other things. Plus, I'm not sure how serious he is about it.
Not sure if that would be in his range or not, but realistically it could take him a while before he can come up with the money, so PAFOA may be the route to go.Last edited by Taurus17112; April 16th, 2010 at 06:05 PM. Reason: correction

Re: Taurus PT92C
Hey man I'm real interested in your 92c. Local dealers tell me the compact is no longer in Taurus catalog. I'm ready if you're serious.

Re: Taurus PT92C
i would say about 300-325 for it , i only paid 340.00 for mine and that was after taxes. Mine is a little bit different on the slide- its laser engraved not stamped (Taurus) and my wood grips have little checkered ridges on them. ,also mine has a decocker.
