The Republic of Kalifornia has a Micro Stamping bill (AB 1471) on the governor's desk and he is not sure if he's going to sign or veto. There is an automated hotline to support or oppose. I was hoping to get about a minute of your time to make the call and oppose this bill.
Arnold's Sacramento office (916) 445-2841
Press 1- for English
Press 2- for Voice your opinion on Assembly Bills
Press 1- for Micro Stamping Bill (AB 1471)
Press 2- for OPPOSE
Thank you so much even if you're not from the Left Coast. The rights you save may be your own.

Re: Micro Stamping Bill on the Governor's desk
No. And a criminal could easily file off the stamp. But he really wouldn't have to if the firearm was stolen and thus not able to be linked to him anyway. MD has the bullet printing program and it has been useless. The police either already have the gun or it was stolen.
Micro-printing has two purposes: 1. It bans sales until manufacturers can comply with the requirements. 2. It provides an excuse for banning "old" firearms that do not have the micro-printing.
Serializing ammunition is a similar tactic.

Done!
It took less than one minute. If you've ever wondered what you can do as an individual to get involved, start here, it couldn't get any easier.
Thanks for the info mrwildroot.Last edited by mauser; September 21st, 2007 at 12:47 AM.
