As I could still see them in my peripheral vision, the officer moved close to the other guy and said, "What does that guy think he's doing?". The local simply stated, "Oh, PA has open carry.". The officer said back, "What?", seeming to get more confused.
LOL classic MD police officer. Anybody with a gun must be a criminal.

You're looking at it all wrong. My plan is for my daughter to be cleaning her guns when the boys start showing up.
I carry a gun cause a cop is too heavy. Hippie and 3%er.

Re: Daughters and dating. I always told my daughter, that she was to tell any potential boyfriend three things. 1) My daddy dotes on me. 2) My daddy is a little crazy. 3) My daddy is heavily armed.

My daughter is now on her way to scaring the boys away. I bought her a Daisy Buck lever action BB gun. They were on clearance at Wally World for $13. She had her heart set on a pink gun, but she's happy. I showed her how to hold it, and a few minutes later she asked me to show her again. My wife didin't even say anything when I grabbed it today.

That's just too awesome. When my niece began dating (well, I have 3 boys no daughters) the poor guys didn't stand a chance. First there's her dad, an AA county cop with a screw loose or 2, then my crazy dad (he was SF back in the day and only crazy people jump from perfectly good airplanes) and me because well, I had 3 boys that I continuously hounded about respecting females (no sudden offspring to make me a granpappy so I'm assuming whew).
    Porsche, there is no substitute

You'll have to excuse the small mindedness of my former fellow Marylanders... Martin O'Malley is an idiot and tends to hire those who are likeminded to his nazi like thinking.

They are QUITE anti-gun. With such laws as having to barricade yourself in your own home, Forsaking your family on the other side of that same door to have a justified lethal defense, You gotta figure they are morons.. Also, What was a MSPD trooper doing in Pa with a gun????

Aren't they aware there is no transport agreement with Pa and Md???
Just cause he's a cop doesn't make him exempt..

    Just sayin...

Dude, why are you reviving all these long dead threads?
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

These must be zombie threads. The zombie invasion starts small, with a couple of forum threads first, then they start eating your brains.
