agreed. I think the idea is "stall till the bastards go home or get arrested"
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

I can understand you feeling like that but it's hard for me to
complain having moved here from long island, it took over 6 months
and more than $100 to get denied due to a 25 year old case
that was dismissed, no conviction, just to be clear, but I failed
to list it on my app.

That isn't how WE feel, that is how the sheriff feels, just to be clear.

I'm from long island as well, what part are you from?

I would think, from other posts here, that most counties do not issue on the spot??

The majority of counties issue DO issue on the spot, or same day, however you would like to say it.

I can imagine, it's still nice and quiet and the landscape
is amazing, even though the locals call me flatlander.

That certainly is a surprise to me. Not that I've kept any close tabs on it, it just seems to me that same day LTCF service is not the norm from what we've seen posted here from folks

Sure, because the people who get in and out in 15 minutes have no reason to post/complain. If you notice the only people complaining are from the same 5 or 6 counties that make you wait 45 days, and add extra requirements.
