Nice to know, thanks. Seems odd that he's called Spring City but his address is in Royersford. LOL

Operates out of his basement.
Charged me $35 for transfer.
If you get a good deal on a firearm don't copy him on communications to your seller, he might offer more.

Re: Spring City Custom Firearms & Repair (Chester County)
Vic just completed some basic repairs on a Ruger P90 and a Remington 552.
Good work and good prices. Pleasant to deal with and always helpful with any question I had.

Another +1 for Vic. I had him do some work for me several years ago, and never had any issues.

Re: Spring City Custom Firearms & Repair (Chester County)
Had him cut down and thread the barrel on my Mosin for me. He did a good job.
In the process of trying to find a scope mount that would work on the mosin, it APPEARED that he didn't use lock tite where he said he did.
It turns out, it was the cleaning solution that I was using that was eating through the lock-tite. Despite this obviously being "user error", he has stood behind his work and continued to work with me on making adjustments, etc., to get the mount and rings to work on my mosin.
You have to be very clear and up front with him about what you want and your time frames.
If he says 1 day, always give him an extra 24 hours. It seems he often understimates the time required for a job. I'll continue to use him now that I know what kind of expectations I need to set.
YMMV
