New rifle

Well bought a HOWA 1500 in 223 with Burris Scope. Got it from Cabellas was used and am very happy with this gun. went to the range and must say this gun is very accurate and I can't wait till I get better and better at shooting it...

Anyone else have a howa? thoughts?

ive used one in a .308 and i love shooting the thing. but thats as far as my experience with them goes.

seems to me like a very solid rifle to me. Held lots of guns from ruger , remington and savage etc. I must say I truly liked the savage and some of the others left me kind of disappointed (won't name them don't want a war).
I went in wanting the savage but found this used Howa and would of been more then I wanted to spend, but found it used in excellant cond so could not hold back...

I have seen and shot the gun, but I agree. No pics or the gun doesn't exist!

crlovel your nearby where you shoot at? jetta and myself go to the buck county fish and game club.

I wish I knew how to post pics here but I love this thing and actually love the idea and trying to become a better shooter. only shot 30 or so rounds thru it but trying more and more to get better at it with breathing technique etc.

I must say it is nothing fancy but a really nice rifle

I also have a howa 1500 in .243 with a thumb hole laminated stock. That rifle puts 5 rounds in the same hole at 100 yards every time!

yeah it shoots some great groups but really doesn't shoot the same hole just due to the shooter not the gun lol

You are going to need a few thousand rounds and an act of god to be a better shooter. HAHAHA!!!!

J/K it is pretty hard to have a bad shot with that gun.

I'm curious, how big around is this "same hole" you speak of? Any other tweaks to the rifle? Factory ammo (and type), or are you reloading? Just curious
