There will be 6 stages of knockdown steel, min. 150 rounds, with Texas stars, speed racks, fireman’s targets, pepper poppers, classic poppers and steel plates. Match Rules

A maximum velocity of 1,350 fps.
Stock auto division: No more than 10 rounds in a gun to start and no more than 10 rounds in a magazine at any time.
Start position: Gun is loaded, safety in on and either holstered or in hand with the muzzle touching the table.
Upon start signal, engage targets while remaining directly behind the table. Elapsed time will stop on the last shot fired.
Reloads may be made from either the belt or from the table – shooter’s choice.
Any ammo - magazine, moon clip, round(s), etc. – that hits the ground is dead and cannot be used during the run by the shooter.
During a run, magazines may not be reloaded.
Targets must fall to score. Targets left standing will incur a 5 second/target penalty. Targets will be calibrated to fall with a 125 power factor.
Reshoots will only be allowed due to range equipment failure.
There will be designated gun handling areas. No ammo is allowed in these areas. Any handling of guns outside of these areas will result in a disqualification.
Any unsafe gun handling will result in a match disqualification, i.e., any shots hitting the table, accidental discharges while reloading, rounds over the berm, breaking the 180 degree plane, sweeping oneself with a loaded firearm, etc. will result in an automatic disqualification.

We were just talking about this today at the IPSC match. I can not wait, last year was my first steel match and it was a blast!

Will there be a carbine (handgun caliber) this year?

This sounds like a blast. It's about a 4 hour drive for me, but I'll try to get there.
