    Default NY and Rifles.

    Hi everyone,

    I would like to know if I can take a Remington 700 magazine fed bolt action to my land in New York and shoot it. The land is about 20 minutes for Elmira. I have 52 acres.

    I dont think there is any problem with a bolt gun as long as you are not in NYC.

    Yes, I believe that you can carry and discharge your gun on your own property in NY state as long as you don't live in NYC.
