    Default Island Firearms

I called out a few places looking for a Charles Daly Tactical Autoloader and until I called Island, if they even knew what I was talking about, no one had any and they couldn't order them either. The guy I talked to didn't answer the phone like a dick like so many people working in gunshops do, he knew what I was talking about and helped me find one. I'll have my new gun in a couple of days and I'll be paying what I think is an excellent price for it! I haven't been to the store yet so I can't say much about that but I'm getting exactly what I was looking for and it isn't often that firearms dealers give me that kind of friendly service. I'm a retail manager myself so I pay a lot of attention to that sort of thing and I definately would suggest giving them a call if you're looking for a 'special order' kind of firearm.

Wayne and the folks he has helping him are nice and helpful. The store will likely not impress you. It's a small and a bit dirty and cluttered.

A bit, that's an understatement. Watch out or you'll trip over something.

All in all that place has more character that ten gunshops!

    I love going in there!

Wayne's good people, but call before going just to insure he is there as sometimes shiit happens and he closes a few mins early or for lunch.

I just bought my Diamondback DB380 there...actually took a chance since I had never heard of them (LOVE it!!!). Yeah, they pack a lot of stuff in there...prices aren't bad for the guns (you can get cheaper ammo though)...and if you can stand the smell of the fish bait, give 'em a try!
