Default AR57 pistol flash hider removal?

I would like to swap out my AR57 standard A2 FH, but it's recessed into the handguard so I cannot use the standard tool. Here's the way it looks:

Any idea on a tool that can be used instead? Thanks.

yes, a flat bar, or thick screwdriver thru the slots, if you aren't going to use it again.

other than that... having never seen how that upper is put together, I cant think of a safe way.

why not contact the people who made it?

    Thank you. From the manufacturer.

    Dear Al,

Just a standard flat head screw driver within the ports...carefully twist off counter clockwise.

    Best Regards,

    HEH... it works.
Pad the bar or screwdriver to prevent marks.

But can you the same trick for "on" with the new FH?

Oh, was JUST gonna ask the question. I was thinking about a Tromix Shark or a Troy Claymore. I may be able to do it.
