    Thumbs up Re: Glen's Gunshop

I finally visited Glen's shop this morning. Boy, that small place was packed with people. His selection of guns was modest, but none were junk - all nice pieces and his prices were very good. He posts a small cash discount on his price tags which is cool. His shop is a 45 minute drive for me, so it won't be a regular stop. I'll be there the next time I'm in Annville on a Saturday though.

to get the best stuff you need to make weekly stops, or better yet get on teh "will call list".
the really good stuff rarely even makes it to the cabinets.
i've seen stuff bought before he even got it in his books.

and for the next couple of weeks he'll be open tuesdays, thursdays(12-8) and saturdays(10-2).

He closed a few years ago. He retired and moved to Palmyra.

He was an interesting character...I would have figured he retired as he was pretty old when I would go to his shops when I lived in Harrisburg.

Still a little depressing every time I drive past the place (at least weekly) to not see the sign outside and on the corner.
