    Default Neversink Gun Club

    Anyone familiar with this place?

I'm in Lancaster County and have been looking for a place to shoot my pistol. I'm trying to find a place that is has little or no membership fee and doesn't require mandatory attendance to any meetings

Basically I just need a place to go shoot once in a blue moon... if anyone can recommned another nearby place please let me know...

What do you consider little fee? Manheim Sportsmen's Association is $40.00 a year plus new member 1 tikme $20.00 fee and no mandatory meetings except one to join. They give you a pass key for the outdoor ranges so you can go in during shooting hours when no one else is there. www.manheimsportsmansassoc.org

$40 annually isn't bad - but I can't find any information on the website about what exactly the orientation is - What does it involve?

I am not a member, but the last time I was in the clubhouse, it seemed to me that it was a "social" club first and a shooting range second.

You can try Penn Dutch Sportsmen in New Holland.

Annual dues are $35 plus a $10 application fee.

I am a member. I love this place. It is both a social and gun club. They have shoots most sat and sun mornings. When the club is open you go in and sign the range book and when it is closed they leave the range book outside. They are open everyday except tuesday. There is also a 3D archery range. The range is often not crowded and no one bothers you if you don't want that. Membership is $20 and yearly dues is $15. How can you beat that! I would suggest just calling and asking for events or emailing them here: nversink@ptd.net. They haven't updated their site in awhile, but most things haven't changed.

Old fashion place..most of the people who go to socialize really don't have many morals....been there, forget about it!
