    Default 3 x 3 challange - by May 31

Snow's gone and nice weather is here again! Time for a new competition.

    Distance: 5yrds, 10yrds, 15yrds
Weapon: Any handgun (iron sights). Tricked out competition handguns are discouraged.
Shooting must be done standing offhand. Hold it any way you like, just don't use a rest.
If anyone wants to shoot with a scope, laser or other device, I'll keep two sets of standings. Opens sights & Scoped. Be sure to indicate which with your submittal.
Shots: 3 rounds per target (If you miss the target, it counts as a round)
    3 rounds @ 5yrds
    3 rounds @ 10yrds
    3 rounds @ 15yrds
(All 3 targets must be shot as a group. No shooting a bunch of plates at each distance and picking the best 3)
    Scoring:
    Measure each group size.
    Average the 3 group sizes.
    Lowest group aveage wins.
For the mathmatically challanged, submit your groups and I'll average them.

    Prize: $1,000,000 cyber dollars
Target: Paper plate. Or any other piece of paper you feel like shooting.
Deadline: Submit your scores by April 30th

Sounds fun! I think I may use my new 10mm for this... so far she's proven very accurate. I'll put that to the test, I guess!

Sure, if it's big enough to distinguish between your groups.

I made up a target (see attached) with different size bulls to keep my sight picture the same at each distance. We'll see if I can keep it on the paper at 15 yards.

Due to lack of response, and certain issues with people being banned, I've extended the deadline to the end of the month.

Here's my entry. With groups of 31/32", 31/32", and 3 25/32" I get an average group size of 1 29/32" or 1.90625". I hope measuring to the nearest 32nd is okay, but I couldn't help myself since it kept my 5 and 10 yard group sizes under an inch. This was shot using my Ruger Single Six, 5 1/2" barrel, with Winchester "333" bulk pack. This was my first attempt of three, the next two had significantly larger 10 yard groups.
