holster question

I have a holster that snuggly fits a Ruger GP 100(357 mag) with a 4 inch barrel. Will a S&W 629(44 mag) with a 4 inch barrel fit in the same holster?

I would rather doubt it, the .44 being inherently larger than the .357, but having said that I would suggest that you check the maker's web site to see what they say.

tried similar on two occasions, the FRONT might fit where you get a whole trigger guard hanging out on the N frame. It's not pretty nor comfy.

As said, the 629 will not fit in a GP100 holster, the frames are not the same dimensions. It's really better to get the correct holster, it fits properly and looks better.
