Carrying long guns on a motorcycle
A friend had sent me a link to an interesting custom motorcycle web site (<--- click) one of the bikes is called the "Paratrooper" bike and it has a few guns built right into it, strictly ornamental I guess.
Anyway it got me to thinking, how would you carry long guns on a motorcycle and is there any law prohibiting it?

Re: Carrying long guns on a motorcycle
I can't see why it would be any different from carrying one in a truck. Same situation. No separate compartment. Provided the gun is not loaded, and the ammo is stored separately. I drive around for months with one type of long gun or another just hanging in the back window.

Slung over your back may work, it would be uncomfortable though. Worst thing I ever carried was a giant stuffed snake I won at a fair years ago. When I won it never occurred to me how I was gonna get it home. I coiled it around me and the head stuck out under my arm. God, I wish I had a picture. As for long arms, don't know of any laws against. Couldn't carry much ammo though.

A guy I shoot sporting clays with brings his Browning O/U's in a take down hard case on his Honda Gold Wing. I never really looked at his rig that close, but the case is strapped on the bike behind him.
BTW - Is a Honda Gold Wing a Motorcycle?

Just strap it to the fuel tank and straddle it.

You also could go to a local motorcycle shop, buy a gun case that fits a quad's front or rear rack and bolt it on to a road bike.

Simple:
Any mission, any conditions, any foe at any range.
Twice the mayhem, triple the force.
Ten times the action, total hardcore.
