Has anyone actually purchased one of these yet? J&G Sales has been listing them regularly.

Lately, I've been thinking about picking up one of these, paying the $200 SBR transfer tax, and having it converted to a short barrel rifle with a Romainian/German/Polish style folding stock. Maybe add a synthtic handguard and forestock, and a Phantom flash hider. With a 20 round mag, this would be a very compact package.

I'm thinking this would be a far more stable platform for "shit hits the fan" situations, than my Hi Power. Sure, it's not nearly the rifle my M-14 is, but good to have on hand when the M-14 is locked in my safe at home.

I think sbrs look cool, but why spend the $200? The draco is an easy handgun to shoot as is.

because a stock > than pistol grip alone, even with 2 hands

as an aside from that, you can still carry a SBR concealed on your LTCF in PA, just like the pistol.

That is a plus, we can't do that in Tennessee. A sling can easily be used to stabilize the gun.

Always nice to have that option if needed.

Is anyone interested in getting another Draco group buy together?

I've been looking around and the $320, with the group buy, seems to be the best price around.
