Slug gun scope suggestions

Looking to mount an optic on a dedicated deer shotgun. I have had luck in the past with a cheaper Simmons Pro Diamond. What do you all have mounted on your sluggers? I will be hunting in an area that has 100 yard shot possibilities, so I would like something with an adjustable objective. A 4X fixed isn't for me. Something to withstand the rigors of 12 gauge slug recoil is a must. I have heard good things about the Nikons but don't currently own any. I am leaning toward a Leupold. What do you all think.

I have a straight 4x power on my "deer" gun... and love it just the way it is.. It is fine out to 100 yards... and gives you enough view for closer shots as well in case you are walking thru the thick stuff..

One thing I found out is that being sighted in for 100 yards with slugs and a IC choke, when I put in the X-full for turkey it holds a perfect pattern at 45 yards for the boids...

Just my 2 cents worth.....

Thanks for the reply. I have a cantilever mount on the fully rifled bbl. I have a dedicated turkey gun! So, swapping out isn't an option for me. I may flirt with the idea of a fixed 4.
