Re: Mountain lions in Pa?
You are kidding right? Do you know what a big deal even one breeding pair of cats would mean? It would be such a BIG DEAL, that it would be all over the news. These cats have not been here since the late 1800s. And for some strange reason you think all of the sudden the PAGC is going to announce a huntable population. Enough is enough already.

Oh for crying out loud , see what happens when you only read one reply. Had you bothered to read more than that you would have seen my position on the lions is that these are rumors , lies , and cases of folks being mistaken .
My last post was nothing more than just something to give all the rumors whores something else to gasp at.

Re: Mountain lions in Pa?
I have no doubt that IF there were Mt. Lions in Pennsylvania, by now someone would have shot one...wheather in their back yard or during a hunting season. Until this happens, I'll never be convinced. Just look at snopes.com and see all the goofy stuff that circulates email and internet and turns out to be a hoax.

And no it wasnt a bobcat this cat had a tail and was very large...... we watched this thing for 2 or three minutes ruling out what it possiblely could be................ now I'm a believer....... Re: Mountain lions in Pa?
went out today looking for a place to sit tomorrow, possibly if it doesnt rain, otherwise heading to work. but anyway i saw a few nice deer, bucks and does, and sure enough bear scat...but thats not all folks. my dad and i saw this big pile of whitish colored scat. it looked really weird. so we get home we look up scat. sure enough we had seen bear scat. he called me just a few minutes ago and said that white "stuff" was cougar scat. i immediately thought of this post and thought i should update it. i kinda dont want to believe it, cause its less than 400 yards from my spot but oh well. were bringing a camera along tomorrow and i hope i see one. worst case we'll check out that spot where the scat was and take a photo.
