Trout Run, Ephrata PA - Closed?

A friend told me that Trout Run in Ephrata PA has Closed? Does anybody out there know if that's true? If yes, does anybody know the details?

Two months ago I placed a gun for sale with them on commission and hadn't heard back from them since with any updates/news/sale of the gun. I tried calling Trout Run Sports today and got the automated, "we're sorry but this number has been disconnected."

This left me a little alarmed to say the least.

I drove over to the shop and on the door it says something to the effect, "The shop is temporarily closed until sale/transfer of business is complete." There is no number for people to call about any product you may have for sale with them - which I am not happy about.

There were no cars there but the lights were on inside the building and I looked through the window inside the shop. It looks exactly the same as it did a few months ago with everything still there.

Well needless to say my gun is in there too and I want it back. I have no idea how long this "temporarily closed" thing is going to go on but I want my gun back.

I would contact the Phila ATF or PSP If I had guns their.

I bought a gun there back in November an the guy was a real SMART ASS if I could have found the gun somewhere else quick I never would have bought from him.

IMO that shop has always been sub par - to many other good ones around.

I drove by there Sunday AM, and the sign was still in the window regarding the transition in ownership. And, the lights were still burning bright inside.

It was never my favorite shop, but they did get some very interesting used stuff from time to time.

I drove by again this morning. There's now a sign that says "coming soon - Musser's Outdoors".

I peeped through the windows, and the place is still heavily stocked with guns.
