No- Provided the PICS check (background "instant" check) goes throug

If the background check comes back "delayed" you must wait 48 hours for a response. If at 48hours you have not been denied (iow, approved or no response) you can then pick up the firearm.

    WOW,
it seems that in Ca (where im originally from-just moved here) they are running on some bullcrappy, i mean doesnt it make sense that when you pay for it, you take it with you? well I guess in CA somebody thought that it would be ok for you to pay for it, then wait 10-15days for a background check..blah blah blah... It seems they are denying us the most basic of rights, gun ownership included. well thanks a lot. Oh another ?, in CA you have to wait 30 days before purchasing another handgun after you buy one, is it the same here?

Yes, in Kommiefornia they believe you need a "cooling off" period. As if to insist that everyone who purchases a firearm, legally, at a dealer, is a disgruntled mad-man intent on shooting the person they are PO'd at..
Interestingly, this insulting "cooling off"period applies w/every purchase, even if you already own 100 guns...
Some real brainiacs they ELECT out there in CA...

Known as "one gun a month". This turd of a law assumes everyone whom purchases more than one gun per month is automatically a gun trafficker.

No, we have no such law here in PA.

However, by federal law if you purchase more than one handgun in a 10 day period from the same dealer he (not you) must fill out a multiple sales form and send it in.

And here I was complaining about having to wait 3 days here in IL...3 on a handgun, 1 on a long gun.
