They did raise the dues to $20 per year, plus a background check from your local police.
But the real story of the site improvement is the town of East Bangor thought they owned the land so they let the East Bangor Water Authority install two massive wells. They didnt own they land and made the up grades to avoid a law suit. Then the water company put wells next to my land and offered me $3000. to stop farming and inspect my property everyday. After a lenghty period of hearings and court they lost.

East Bangor has really cleaned house. By having members get background check they have a certain amount of shitheads. The problem has been is that people joined years ago and have never renewed, that;s why the strong arm about out of date memberships. Now you are required to wear your membership (few do so far) or expect to be asked to see your card. No card you will be asked to leave.
There is no more shooting everything and anything you want. Shooting a microwave...you will be gone as a memeber. They have come a long way and making improvements all the time.

East Bangor is even holding a steel action match on Sunday May 19.
