Re: "Drinky's" in Easton... secretly wanding AFTER entering
Possible situation? The only two guys who know how to operate the wands were late for work. The manager gave them hell and said "go out there and wand everybody and find their guns". "Yes Sir,,, will do!!!" LOL

its their establishment, they are within their rights to do whatever they want within the law, which just so happens to be on their side most times.

I think I would have congratulated them on being a couple of regular double-nought spies before leaving. Just like at work. If you let them get away with something, let them know you let them.

I live in Easton and avoid Drinkies only because it is one place you don't want to be without a gun.
That in and of itself contributes to my desire to not be there.
The one nice thing about Easton is there are more bars than you could possibly visit in one evening.
I may know the bouncer in question, next time I see him I will ask him what he does when he encounters someone with a LTC and a firearm.I may be out of the Marine Corps but the Marine Corps is in me for life.

Re: "Drinky's" in Easton... secretly wanding AFTER entering
I suspect they wand inside without notice so as not to 'scare' away patrons. Yikes, you need to go through a metal detector, must be bad in there.
And it sucks because it is not a condition of entry but of remaining there. I think there should be signs and a warning that wanding takes place inside. The reason is that they are better off having a conflict about someone armed at the entranceway than inside the bar. If I was a fellow patron, this is what would concern me. Yeah, let's confront someone who might have illegal possession of a firearm and not want to leave and is now angry and possibly drunk.
There should be a sign that states that patrons are subject to search as a condition on remaining there. It is you. You have all the weapons that you need. Now fight. --Sucker Punch
