Para GI Expert ?
Does anyone have one?
I have 1 on lay-away.
Is there a mag disconnect, type thing involved?
The one I handled, would not release the slide, without a mag installed......

I've handled them before and the slide release worked fine without a mag installed. They look like a great gun for the money.

it's just a standard 1911. you probably handled a pretty tight one, i handled a Les Baer like that. from what i'm told, they're a great value.

Re: Para GI Expert ?
Paras are great guns despite the BS you read on other gun sites , i have a TAC-s that i bought LNIB, excellent gun that i would bet my life on to work, i have a LTC covert on hold that i might pick up this weekend.
Since Ted died Para has not been the same , and with them moving out of Canada to florida and Back up to North Carolina customer service has not been the same.
But i bet the Gi will be a good gun.
