Default Recommend a Suppressor for a .45 ACP

Am getting a new .45 barrel that is threaded. Any recommendations on a decent suppressor? The barrel is coming from FTF Industries and is threaded .575x40. The barrel is 5 3/4" of which 1/2" is threaded.

    Thanks for the inputs.

You sure about the threads,578x28 is standard us thread pattern and of course you have the HK thread. I must recommend again the osprey by SILENCERCO. I have it and it is awsome...

I'll double check on the threads, hopefully it was a typo. It was, I was looking at another one. Mine has .578 x 28

Ron, I am just submitting my paperwork for one of the Silencer Co. Ospreys... hope to have it back in a reasonable time. That was the one I chose in November.

Take into consideration that AAC was charging 1100+ for the tirant WHICH STILL IS NOT OUT. and when the OSPREY came out and metered pretty much the same as the rant they lowered the price to 850; same as the osprey. SO AAC had no problem ass-raping you for your money, but when some serious competition came along they HAD to lower the price, YA, that's great customer service right there, keep buying the kool-aid. they have to pay for all those shinny ads in the tacticool mags somehow

Exactly! Although they make quality cans, they usually overcharge... then make you wait up to a year for the product to ship to your dealer! My first can was an AAC, the next three were Gemtech.
