I'll probably check it out. It can't be any worse than the one at the Hamburg Field House a few months ago.

In my Back yard? 1mile or less? I'll be there. Only question is if any good dealers will be. Addmision charge? I have been to one at Kempton before. It has in the past been a horrible show. I will post as soon as I get back.. I am encouraging others to go though as I would like it to become someting big in an area that embraces our 2nd A freedoms. Anyone else I could meet there? Shoot afterwards?

I just got back from the Kempton show. It is without a doubt one of the worst wastes of time. One room....vacant tables ...a few dealers...mostly junk..high prices...and..oh yes..the place smells like they bury their old milkers under the floor. They need to give you $4.00 to attend. Outside of those things it is a peachy, dandy show.

A stop at Dixon's helped to ease the pain.

I drove 90 miles to get there, as a morning at a gun show is still better than a morning somewhere else. OK, it was small (make that REALLY small), but I bought some primers and powder, didn't have to wait on line to do so, and got to talk to the vendor about what would work well reloading .30 carbine.

Then I drove about 15 minutes and went to Cabelas. First time for me. Prices are not low, but it was interesting.

Would I have gone if I had a different show to go to? No. Would I have gone I had been to a show in the last two weeks, or one over the next month? No. But was the only game in town on that day, and I had a good time...
