Sounds like a positive outcome. Not sure whether the victim is really a "victim", but the good news is that the victim was not arrested and it appears that his handgun was legit.

From the article ,quote "Police said the handgun was registered to ....." How is this possible? I know we don't have gun registration in Pa, so is someone running an illegal registry?

Thought the same about that. Ask Allegheny Sportsmen about the so called registration listing. LEO's use it every day in Pennsylvania. But.. its nice to see that this fellow was NOT arrested for defending his family and his pistol was legit in the eyes of the LEO's.
