Mossberg 590A1 SPX

Here is my new shotty. If anybody knows a good shorter stock for the 590a1 please let me know i'm looking to get one. I heard the hogue is good but have no idea.

I have Hogue stocks on a 500 right now and they are very comfortable. Haven't shot with them but they have a jell-o like recoil pad that seems it would help tame the recoil very well.

I don't really mind the recoil. I'm just looking for something shorter smaller as i have short arms.

I don't think the Hogue is any smaller than the "stock" stock. Unless they make a shorter version that I don't know about.

The recoil pad also adds a little over an inch it seems.

Well the factory mossberg stock lop is 13 7/8". Hogue makes a 12" lop stock so 1 7/8" difference Almost 2".

hogue makes overmolded stock that is 12LOP - They call it Youth model I believe.

When I bought my 590A1, SPX model was not available yet.
I LOVE the LPA sights!

I think ATI makes a collapsible AR style stock for the 590.

I'm not looking for a pistol grip stock. i want a standard stock but smaller. Looks like the hogue stock is my only option or modify my factory stock.
