Re: Laws on using laser sights?
I'm bringing this back from the dead.
I know that laser sights are not legal for hunting but are they legal for bowfishing? I just started bowfishing and one thing I find is that it is very hard to pick up the carp looking through my peep and normal tru-glow sights. I was looking for ideas on what types of sights bowfisherman use and I saw a laser sight advertised. I was not sure if that was legal in PA."The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

Re: Laws on using laser sights?
I believe Ohio does indeed have some law about laser aimers but I don't know the details.
I think I was thinking of Illinois, or portions thereof.Last edited by ungawa; June 10th, 2013 at 10:22 AM.

I would think the laser would have some refraction on the surface of the water.
