    Default Glock barrel question

I know a 40 cal barrel from a model 22 will fit in a model 27 extending past the slide a little over an inch. Would this increase the accuracy of the gun? I know the sights would not be changed but would that extra inch of barrel help in any way? This is not something I plan on sticking with but I may experiment with it.

You are incorrect. A 23 barrel will fit in a 27, a 22 will not. The locking lugs are different.
