Default Lehigh County LTCF applied 2/23, arrived 3/26

Just an FYI on getting an LTCF in Lehigh County. I applied for a new app on 2/23 and it arrived in today's mail. I think that counts as 31 days. The references listed both live in Lehigh county, too, but neither were contacted.

A few boxes were checked on the app, but the license came back with "Protection" only.

I hope that helps keep tabs for those who applied or are about to apply.
    Enjoy!

Thanks for the update, some of us are definitely keeping tabs.

If you want to help change the way Lehigh does things, check out this thread. We could use your help.

I found it interesting that Sheriff Rossi's "Supplemental Gun Permit Data" sheet has this as point #3:

"Can I carry my firearm out in the open in a holster?
Your permit is for a concealed weapon; if in a city like Philadelphia or Allentown, you carried it in the open, concerned citizens seeing this would call the police and you will be stopped and queried. And, who really needs this hassle?"

I remember Sheriff Rossi as "Trooper Rossi" talking about safety in elementary school. He was kind of a role model at the time. This is disappointing.

Why, why, why do these sheriffs put "PROTECTION" on there when that is not one of the choices? It's SELF DEFENSE

Trooper Rossi needs to update his supplemental sheet. His reciprocity list is extremely outdated!! PS: I call him Trooper because that is what he was and still acts like.

You're pretty fortunate on that time table. I applied 1/14/10 and didn't get mine until 3/6/10

Prepare to wait...I applied for mine the last week of May of last year, and received it a few days before July 4th.
