My wife renewed her LTCF in Montgomery County today. She paid $25 for the new laminated card, and they took her picture.

I just looked at the paper for what to bring and was happy to see the change, I got mine June of this year and paid the 36 for the laminated card. It says that it's a laminated paper card though for the 25. Is it the same laminated version we used to get or is it a cheapened one now?

No, I need to check up on that. He should be at $25 now since the equipment upgrades were supposed to happen last month.

Wow, Montgomery County is actually following the law (regarding cost) now?

Was recently charged 26.00USD for my LTCF (plastic w/ pic), but was charged 20.00USD 5 years ago (still plastic w/ pic), so that averages out to 23.00 USD for two 5 year periods.

    Guess I made out good!

I think it's been about 3 weeks since I applied, so about 3 more to go.

Not sure how holidays play out with the 45 days, but I should be approved by Jan

It doesn't matter if it's the holidays or a weekend. The statute says "days" not business days. Hand in the application, and count every day until the LTCF comes.
