Re: Picking up others spent shells a felony?
It seems that the majority of people that I meet at the local gun club reload, which is great, because I'm always learning useful tips and tricks. It's also nice because more often than not we are taking turns picking up brass as others on the line are shooting. It leaves a lot less clean up and sorting at the end. If no one is there, I pick up everything I can find. I often have bags of it in my car which I give to other members or friends that reload those rounds (I only really reload for 308 and 45acp... and the 308 gets ejected right into my hand from the bolt gun). I always ask before I pick up someone elses brass to make sure they don't want it. I generally will sweep it up even if they do want it to make sure it doesn't get trampled.

There is no way that's a felony.
