Back by popular demand! There will be ONE MORE Appleseed this year at Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club, Beaver Falls, PA. Bring your rifles, ammo and a friend on December 11 & 12.

Nope, Appleseed shoots are open to the general public. Bring a friend or two!

Last Appleseed of the year in western PA! There are still open slots on the line.

I finally got the 22 I had as a young girl here and shot it - very disappointed - it wont feed properly or eject properly either so it isn't an option. My brother in law remembers it not working right years ago also.
I think I should look for something junior for my short stature anyway - 5'2" any suggestions of a good semi 22? Ruger? junior? plus a center fire ? all must be small - maybe an adjustable stock AR15? I want to attend one of these next year with proper equipment!

Tapco makes an adjustable stock for the Ruger 10/22. They're popular with instructors for use on loaner rifles. That's a more flexible way to go and is my personal preference over a youth model.

10/22s are very popular, add an auto bolt release, tech sights, 1 1/4" sling swivels, and a usgi web sling and you have a near perfect learning tool.
