Default Finalized my AR15 pistol build with upgrades

I built this pistol last June and didn't really have the funds to make it look nice until now. Here's the link on how it started (and specs): http://forum.pafoa.org/general-2/633...ng-pistol.html.

Here's is how it is now with:

    1. MI flip up front and rear BUIS (excellent addition for a clean look)
    2. AIMShot multi-reticle holographic sight (solidly built, excellent economical sight)
    3. Tapco SAW grip (not so sure about the feel, but like the look)
    4. Single point sling (not sure of the make, but awesome)
    5. Knight Armament rail panels (cuts down on the sharp edges and rounded out the look)

You've gotta love the recessed barrel. She runs flawlessly with lots of fire and LOUD!

That's very nice. How about a straight profile shot, with something for size perspective?

You can sorta get a sizing relative to the PMAG in the 2nd photo below

Looks great! I checked the other thread and didn't see anything mentioned about the gas system. I have been thinking about doing a pistol build but was concerned about issues with such a short barrel and how to make it cycle well, any tips, tricks or recomendations, or some info about gas tube lenth etc......

    Thanks YB

It's just a regular old DI, nothing fancy. I initially used a YHM low profile gas block, which was difficult to tighten up, resulting in some gas leak. I eventually replaced it with a Midwest Industries LP gas block and it's been 100% ever since with every type of ammo, including Wolf. Oh, the barrel is a 7" DPMS Kitty Kat with a 7" gas tube.

    Very nice Al!

Love the look of the recessed barrel. Really makes me want to build one.
