Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
Avi:
I called my NRA contacts to inquire. The owner's rep attends all of the planning commission meetings, but the group is not quite ready to submit the revised plans. They are 100% behind the project, but it's size (240 parking spaces and several types of ranges on 600 acres) requires careful engineering and they want it right the first time.
I could not find any new news in the papers.
Try to catch the owner on site and ask him. He is there frequently.

Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
Hi, guys:
No range updates that I know of but the owner sent me a neat reminder about election day and that we are in a swing state.
Check it out here.

Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
Hey, guys!
Here's a example of anti- gun hysteria and ignorance at its usual worst.
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow...000356541.html
The range owners sent it to me to show another example of how uninformed opinions and irrational emotions towards firing ranges make people look stupid.

Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
They plan to build the range across the street from the landfill on West Mountain. The entrance is on Ransom Rd. (Not sure of the street number.)
There are no immediate neighbors, only the cemetery and the landfill, but that has not stopped some from opposing it for emotional and irrational reasons just like the people in that video like I sent you from CT.

Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
Thanks for keeping up with this, I think this is going to be dragged out by a few anti-everything people who fear change.
Government 99 and 44/100 % pure bullshit.
