Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
I hope the developer takes this township to court, their delay tactics are getting rather old.
Thanks for the update.Government 99 and 44/100 % pure bullshit.

7/23/2013 Update:
http://www.theabingtonjournal.com/ne...te=abingtonart
Looks like a lot was discussed, but it also appears to me to either be ineptitude or political gamesmanship by the Township. I would not have the patience to deal with this... good for the developer. Looks like he's getting the "extra-super-special" treatment. Stick with it!

Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
“Remarkably, the existence of these letters was kept secret for months from Ransom Recreational Shooting Sports and the public. Neither Mr. Seamans nor the Township informed Mark Dieter or Ransom Recreational Shooting Sports of the existence of these letters, and in an obvious departure from protocol regarding correspondence sent to the Supervisors, the letters were never read at Township Meetings, according to the minutes.”
That tells us a lot about how Ransom Township governs. I wonder how this will play out if the developer takes them to court.

Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
Does anyone know what type of Shooting events are going to be at the new range, will they have Bench Rest events, Small Bore Rifle events, Hi Power Rifle events, Pistol events, Trap, Skeet, etc.etc.
What ever events are held I'm sure the National and State Associations for those events could / would offer support.
Regards

Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
His actions show that he has resolved to build his range there, no matter how many road blocks they try to put in his way, eventually the board will screw up and he will take them to court--and win.
Government 99 and 44/100 % pure bullshit.

Re: New Public Range in Danger of Close?
Here's an interesting article the developer wrote on backup guns. I never knew these things.
