Default Why isn't there a "New Threads" link?

There is a "New Posts" link, yes. Why isn't there a "New Threads" link. The need seems obvious to me. No option for that in this forum software?

I believe if you used the 'new posts' link it would take you to the post in a 'new thread'...everything contained withing a 'thread' is a 'post'..a thread really is just a title and a place to hold the posts.

The new posts link contains the new threads but it's not the same as what he's looking for. He wants to find only threads that are new since his last visit.

I'm not aware of such functionality in vBulletin, but it sure would be handy.

Not to hijack this thread, but is it possible to add a "My Posts" link to the top links? I see it on some other VB forums and it is quite handy.

I thought there was a module for that for vBulletin. I may be mistaken I know there are for others for sure. (phpbb and simplemachines) Hell, If it's not already a coded module, code one or request it. I can do some digging if you like.

It looks like moderators have a few extra options on the tool bar. Between New Posts and Quick Links you have My Posts and Search. They aren't on my tool bar with Firefox or Internet Exploder. What other goodies do you have that we don't that you might take for granted when you're telling us how easy things are?
I'm not trying t be a smartass here, I just noticed that there are obvious differences in the features you have access to and that could explain why some of us have a harder time with finding or using certain tools here.

    Here's what mine looks like:

I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.
