OK,the answer is---duracoat--thats what the case it came it says.
In person it looks to be a medium dark grey and the trigger is something i will have to get used to,like in smooth and very quick,little to no takeup.
It is a nice gun and i have been oc'ing it and it carrys easily in a Houge&goodrich 3 slot holster.Government 99 and 44/100 % pure bullshit.
