    I was told by an officer, If someone brakes in to your home and you shoot them dont reload!, empty the gun on them then you are fearing for your life, and you have no control of the situation. But if you shoot once and kill them then you are in control of the situation and you could have held them till police have arrived. I live out in farmland so we take care of our own. It takes the police longer to arrive then it dose for city folks. good luck

    Unfortunately, officers are often uninformed, and sometimes pass misinformation, and really bad advice, along. What kind of officer, PSP, Erie city, Millcreek, Sheriff?
    You may only shoot until the threat has ended.
    I wouldn't empty my gun, what if there's more of them?

    I'm kind of out of the loop now, but Millcreek cops used to be known as the biggest pricks around, about everything. Seems like most of them were very young, and looking to prove themselves.
