Any decent shops in State College?
My wife likes to shop there. I feel like there is nothing there for me. In fact, when I arrive there, I want to leave asap. More often than not, I find our adventure in town quite stressful, possibly due to the large population of campus commie zombies walking around. Anyways, are there any shops that I could find there? Or did they get banished from town?

Re: Any decent shops in State College?
Sorry. Shops as in GUN shops. Stores that sell firearms. Ammunition for sale would be nice also. Thanks!

J&E Guns in Bellefonte is OK; small, but decent, and the owners are alright.
There's also Port's Sporting Goods in Bellefonte and Lion Country Supply in Port Matilda.
Or, you could always go to Scotia Range and blast away while she shops.

Re: Any decent shops in State College?
It's not there anymore, but anyone remember the shop on North Atherton next to the Liquor Store, run by Tom Engle (Engel?)? Incredibly high prices, incredibly large amounts of bullshit spewing forth from his mouth, etc., regarding justification of astronomically high prices. The second of three times I was in there Tom was authoritatively informing a customer that Swedish milsurp 6.5x55 ammo in an OD battlepack would work in the customer's Swiss K31. I interjected in the interests of safety and was told to butt out. I reiterated the difference between 6.5x55 and 7.5x55, and the customer then remembered his K31 was indeed 7.5x55. After the customer left, Tom said "Thanks a lot, dude. Cost me a sale," and went back to his computer game.
When Tom felt like tearing himself away from a computer game to wait on you, his signature line was, "Do you have any questions for me?" The last time I set foot in the place and he asked me that, I replied "Yeah, just one. With prices like this and your shitty attitude toward customers, how the f__k do you stay in business?" Of course, I was advised in no uncertain terms to leave and not come back, but that was a foregone conclusion before I asked my question.
